ABSTRACT: A classroom that integrates geospatial problem-solving tools across all its teaching and learning practices is a GIS-enabled classroom. This session reflects some of the best practices and successful strategies that have helped other teachers use story maps to achieve that goal. Among the topics that will be covered are best practices and resources for teaching about making story maps, building collaborative story maps, constructing digital portfolios with story maps, and using story maps for instruction.
